I’m so excited to finally be sharing more home decor content on the blog! If you’re new around here, I love decorating and stying our home. Especially when it comes to affordably doing so! We recently redecorated our dining room by creating our own version of a gallery wall, and I must say I love how it turned out.
We’re that family that hardly has any family pictures on our walls, so making a gallery wall was a must for our home! I knew that I wanted picture frames that had the blank white background, but they usually sell for $30 a piece, and I wasn’t about to spend that on one single frame. 😅 After checking a few different retailers, I ended up finding a 3 pack on Walmart’s website for $18, so I ordered 3 packs. This was the cheapest set I could find.

You don’t have to do the three rows of pictures like I did, you can do just two or even four rows if you really wanted. I originally only had the two rows, but I didn’t like the way it made the wall look. So, in the end I ordered the third pack of frames to make a gallery wall of 9 total pictures (3×3 layout) and that final row really made all the difference. If you have a larger wall to work with then the four rows would probably look better!
I had my hubby measure and hang the pictures so that they were evenly spaced and level. I definitely think that the family pictures make our dining room look way more personal and homey vs the hobby lobby sign, haha.
For reference: The frames are 11×14 matted to fit 8×10 pictures. I had my pictures printed at Walmart and shipped to my doorstep.
Pictures: $26.46 for nine 8×10 photos.
Matted Frames: $56.97 for three orders of the 3-pack matted black frames.
Total Price: $83.43
